Arts Bonita announced the grand launch of the Venturino Comedy Club, a unique comedy series that promises to be a breath of fresh air in the entertainment scene. The first show, an extraordinary event, will be held at the Moe Auditorium, Performing Arts Center, 10150 Bonita Beach Rd, Bonita Springs, on June 13 at 7:30 p.m.

Presented by the esteemed Larry Venturino, the comedy resident of Arts Bonita, this monthly event guarantees an evening of side-splitting laughter and continuous entertainment. Larry will introduce new acts to Arts Bonita monthly, starting with three comedic powerhouses: Mike Rivera, Vien ‘ComicDoc’ Phommachanh, and Mark Christopher. Rivera, recognized as America’s Funniest Teacher by ABC’s The View, will showcase his comedic brilliance. Phommachanh, the #1 Laotian Ear, Nose, & Throat Doctor/Comedian in Florida, will deliver a laugh-out-loud performance with his unique blend of wit and medical expertise. Christopher will complete the lineup with his captivating mix of old-school charm and modern sensibility, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

Larry Venturino is a stand-up comedian who has garnered over 15 million views of his comedy worldwide across social media formats. He has appeared on LMAO TV and is a nationally touring act that has performed at many of the biggest comedy clubs and theaters across the United States.

An Estero resident but originally from Rhode Island, Larry burst onto the Southwest Florida comedy scene while in his mid-30s. He had already been married and, of course, divorced. Then, he adopted two kids. He’s a middle-class white single father raising two Hispanic children doing his best impression of Diff ’rent Strokes.

Larry was a Social Worker for over two decades, and his experiences of seeing the best and the absolute worst in people helped him bring a perspective to the stage that is unique and sometimes, well, bizarre. No stranger to the stage, he was the frontman for three touring punk rock/ hardcore bands. His comedy is endearing yet intense while pushing the envelope to the limits. His show is not just your typical stand-up comedy performance, as he has continued to gain worldwide attention for a part of his act that you’ll have to experience for yourself. ¦
