Two U.S. financial regulators, led by Trump-appointed chiefs, plan to write cryptocurrency rules unilaterally as the CLARITY Act remains stalled in the Senate. With only about 14 working days after lawmakers return from recess to pass the CLARITY Act before the October election break, the split rulemaking and compressed timeline heighten regulatory uncertainty for crypto firms, DeFi projects, DEXs, CEXs and token markets.
